Tullio Avoledo

Tullio Avoledo was born in Valvasone (Pordenone) in 1957. He made his literary debut in 2003 with the hit novel L’elenco telefonico di Atlantide (Sironi, later Einaudi), and went on publishing fictions with Sironi, Einaudi, Chiarelettere and Marsilio. He won the Premio Scerbanenco 2020 with Nero come la notte (Marsilio, 2020) and contributed to “Metro 2033 Universe”, an international collective storytelling project based on the post-nuclear world, imagined by the Russian writer Dmitry Glukhovsky. In 2023, he published the novel I cani della pioggia (Marsilio). With Neri Pozza, he published in 2025 the novel Come si uccide un gentiluomo, followed in 2026 by the publication of Ultimo valzer di una ragazza perbene. His books have been translated into many languages.
