Luca Saltini
Luca Saltini was born in Milan in 1974. He holds a degree in Philosophy and a PhD in Literature. After working at several Swiss universities, he is currently a scientific collaborator at the Cantonal Library of Lugano, where he oversees cultural activities and ancient collections. He has published several novels, including Tattoo (Fernandel, 2012), Il demolitore di camper (Fernandel, 2013; Dadò, 2020), which was adapted into a film by Swiss public television, Periferie (Alla chiara fonte, 2015); Una piccola fedeltà (Giunti, 2018); Scrivimi dal confine (Piemme, 2023); and Sarà la montagna (Neri Pozza, 2024). He is also the author of numerous short stories for children and young adults, published in magazines and anthologies. His most recent book for younger readers is Lo scivolo di luce (Giunti, 2024).
