Emmanuela Carbé

Emmanuela Carbé (Verona, 1983) wrote Mio salmone domestico (Laterza, 2013), finalist for the Premio Bergamo and included in the anthology "La terra della prosa" (L'orma, 2014), and "L'unico viaggio che ho fatto" (minimum fax, 2017). She took part in the anthologies "L'età della febbre" (minimum fax, 2015), "Ma il mondo, non era di tutti?" (Marcos y Marcos, 2016), "Con gli occhi aperti" (Exòrma, 2016) and "Princesa e altre regine" (Giunti, 2018). She collaborated on the translation of the Italian edition of Sisters of Revolution (Le Visionarie, edited by C. Durastanti and V. Raimo, published by Nero in 2018). Her stories have been translated into English by Isabella Livorni (in "Lunch Ticket", "Asymptote Journal" and "The Susquehanna Review") and in German by Mirjam Bitter ("Leben and Ansichten von Hauslachs", for the project leggìIO).
She is part of the jury of Premio Settembrini and of the selection jury of Premio Campiello Giovani.
In 2002 she won the Premio Campiello Giovani.
