Luca Azzolini

Luca Azzolini was born in Ostiglia (Mantua) in 1983. He is an author and works in publishing.
He has conceived and written various successful young adult book series, like Volley Star, a series for kids set in the world of sports and the fantasy series Aurion, both published by Piemme and translated in Turkey and Hungary.
He debuted in 2009 with the urban fantasy novel Il Fuoco della fenice. Afterwords, he published, also with Piemme, the children's series Evelyn Starr, composed out of two volumes written together with Francesco Falconi: Evelyn Starr - Il diario delle due lune (2011) and Evelyn Starr - La regina dei Senzastelle (2012), reprinted in 2013 among the Piemme Junior Best sellers).
In 2013 he published his first historical novel for adults, La regina delle spade di seta (Reverdito).
Since 2010 he has edited the “Pegaso” series, dedicated to fantasy novels and published by Reverdito Editore.
He collaborates with various newspapers and works in publishing (among the other things, he has edited for the publisher Asengard the anthology Sanctuary, where the main Italian fantasy authors publish, and the Encyclopedia del Fantasy released by De Agostini).
His series Mark Mission (Giunti) is in bookstores since 2015 and made him finalist at the Premio Valtenesi di Narrativa per Ragazzi.
In 2018 La strada più pericolosa del mondo was published by EL Einaudi Ragazzi.
In 2019, he published also with EL Einaudi Ragazzi, Adriano Olivetti - l'industriale del popolo, Bambini per gioco, Don Ciotti - un'anima libera and La grande corsa.
