Marco Missiroli was born in Rimini and lives in Milan. He writes for the newspaper "Corriere della Sera".
He won the Premio Campiello Opera Prima with his debut novel, Senza coda (Fanucci, 2005). For Guanda he published Il buio addosso (2007), Bianco (2009; Premio Comisso and Premio Tondelli) and Il senso dell'elefante (2012; Campiello Selection Award, Premio Vigevano and Premio Bergamo).
He published the best-selling novel Atti osceni in luogo privato (Feltrinelli, 2015), with which he won the Super Mondello Award. His books have been translated into several languages.
Fedeltà, released by Einaudi in February 2019, is being translated into over thirty countries, won the Premio Strega Giovani and was selected among the finalists of the Premio Strega 2019.
